  1. What is the format of the ICAFES 2025 conference?

    2nd ICAFES 2025 will be conducted in a hybrid format, combining onsite sessions at Universitas Riau, Pekanbaru, Indonesia, and online sessions via Zoom. Participants may choose to attend either physically or virtually.

  2. How do I submit my abstract and full paper?

    Submissions must be made through the official Google Forms provided by organizer. Submission links and guidelines will be provided on the conference website.

  3. Is there a fee for attending the conference without presenting a paper?

    Online participation without presenting a paper is free of charge. However, onsite participants must register and pay a participation fee, which includes a certificate, conference kit, and access to refreshments and lunch.

  4. Do I need to submit an abstract before the full paper?

    Yes. All prospective presenters must first submit an abstract by the specified deadline. Upon acceptance, you will be invited to submit the full paper.

  5. Is virtual participation available for presenters?

    Yes. Both online and onsite presentation formats are available for all categories.

  6. Will the proceedings be indexed in Scopus?

    2nd ICAFES 2025 proceedings are planned to be submitted for consideration to a Scopus-indexed publisher, subject to the publisher’s review and approval process.

  7. Will I receive a certificate?

    All registered participants who attend and/or present will receive an official e-certificate. Onsite participants will also receive a printed certificate.

  8. Can I submit more than one paper?

    Yes, but only limited to 2 papers with same authors or co-authors and each additional paper will require a separate registration and fee.

  9. What language should the paper be written in?

    All submissions must be written in English. Presentations must be delivered in English.

  10. Is there financial support or fee waiver available for students?

    At this time, the conference does not offer scholarships or fee waivers. However, we provide an early bird registration and reduced student registration rate to support student participation.

  11. Can I update or revise my submitted abstract or paper?

    Yes, revisions are allowed before the submission deadline. You may log in to the submission platform to update your manuscript. After the deadline, no changes can be made unless requested by the reviewers.

  12. Will there be awards given during the conference?

    Yes. The conference will present several awards including:
    Best Oral Presentation Award and Best Poster Presentation Award. Winners will be announced during the closing ceremony.

  13. Will there be field activities or site visits?

    Yes. Onsite participants will have the opportunity to join a field visit to local agricultural projects in the Riau region on the final day of the conference. Details will be shared during registration.

  14. Can I receive a refund if I cancel my registration?

    Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis and must be submitted via email no later than August 15, 2025. Please note that administrative fees may apply. No refunds will be issued after this date.
